The Music Ministry at Dunmore helps us worship the Lord through performing and singing. To help aid in our singing Dunmore Methodist is home to one of the finest pipe organs in the region. The pipe organ in the sanctuary was installed by the Casavant Organ Firm based in Quebec, Canada. The organ holds 1,596 pipes housed in two seperate chambers on either side of the choir loft. The pipes are playable over a 3 manual console and standard pedal board. The church choir sings on Sundays from Sept-May and during special services. New voices to sing with us are always welcome!

Our music ministry gets very exciting in the summer months. Starting on the first Sunday of June every year, our summer music series starts, featuring guest musicians. They perform some selections before and during that week's church service. The series commences toward the middle of August. We have had featured musicians that have studied at Marywood University, Duquesne University, Mansfield University, The Julliard School of Music, and the Eastman School of Music to name a few. We also try to host a major concert every year featuring choral or instrumental music. In 2008, we hosted the Marywood University Chamber Singers and chamber ensemble, and the Singing Boys Choir of PA. Most recently the church hosted the Lycoming College Tour Choir in Jan of 2010.
